First off, I hate small chat. I want to get to know people on a deeper level. So, let me begin.
I love God, my husband, my family, my kitchen aid mixer, food and friends (both near and far).
I call many places my home. I find that home is not just the location, but it’s the people that you love. I was born in, grew up in, matured in, and am about to live in, different cities. In the past four years I have traveled more than 117,174 km (or 72,806 mi, for you American’s 😛 ). My new home is Portland, Oregon, but there is a Cowboy shaped piece of my heart for Calgary, and the Atlantic Ocean always welcomes me home.
Although I don’t have many stamps in my passport, those kilometres (miles), sleepless nights, awkward naps and caffeine buzzes are worth it for when I arrive to my homes. I love to travel, but I am ready to stop exploring alone. I am ready for the partner that God designed for me – the one that loves, or hates airports as much as I do. I am ready to travel with him on this new chapter the Lord has written for us.
I pray that you are able to be blessed in this season of your life, and that you are able to see more of God’s glory working throughout your life. I pray that I may be used for His glory and that we are able to seek His Kingdom together.
I hope that you stay around and learn more about who I am, and where my passions lie. And who knows, maybe we’ll run into each other if you find yourself in an airport on the Pacific Northwest, or the Prairies.
– love Maggs.
